The Emergency Housing Assistance Program is available to all qualified households in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park who have experienced financial difficulties due to COVID-19. This program provides a one-time or short-term payment (no more than three consecutive months) of mortgage, rental, and emergency utility housing assistance to prevent homelessness. The Feeding Taskforce helpline is available Monday through Friday starting at 9am for anyone in the Prince William metropolitan region who needs food.
Additionally, COVID-19 rental assistance is now available to residents of the Prince William metropolitan area: Manassas City, Manassas Park City, or Prince William County. Prince William County Community Services provides youth and their families with individual, family, and group therapy, intensive home services, case management services, and behavioral health and wellness services through the New Horizons Program. They also offer mental health and substance abuse case management, therapy, peer support services, discharge planning, medication-assisted treatment, and psychiatric services. Prince William County has specific volunteering needs in relation to COVID-19 and volunteering opportunities in general.
